Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10:30 amβ8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Pesto's at (810) 732-4390; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, pestos.com.

Flint is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flint follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Years ago, when I first started going to this place, I walked in and was not impressed. It's a very small seating area but we found in place to set right away. The food and service was so awesome, that we continue to go back. I've never had a-okay meal there. It's always been excellent. The wait staff attends to your every need and any timely fashion. This is an old school restaurant that I wish we had more of. Everything taste homemade and they have an extensive, delicious dessert menu. My husband ordered a ten inch pizza and I ordered the meatball stroganoff. Both lived up to our expectations, as did our waitress. Portions are more than adequate, as I took some home. We were too full, so we had them package our desserts up as well. My husband had the coconut cream pie which was enormous. I had the Chocolate eclaire that was of equal size. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!!

Surprisingly nice restaurant in a very unassuming building! Stopped by in-transit, attracted by the Italian-centric menu. Very pleasant servers, patient with our questions. One of the best lasagnas in a long time - enough that I left with a full take-home box. Hurricane Chicken Penne was also a fan favorite, again an ample serving for take home too. A tad pricey, but we knew that going in from the menu review.

I hadnβt visited this restaurant in years, but I remembered it being a fantastic experience. When I was looking for a lunch spot with a coworker, I decided to give it another tryβand Iβm happy to say it was every bit as good as I remembered! One of the things that makes this restaurant stand out is its incredible variety. In addition to the regular menu, they also offer creative specialty menus that the owner features for a limited time, making every visit feel like a new adventure. To start, I enjoyed a comforting cup of the navy bean and ham soup, which tasted like it had been simmering with love all day. My coworker couldn't stop raving about the South African maafe soup, a unique combination of curry and peanut butter that was both unexpected and delicious. For my entrΓ©e, I ordered the scalloped potatoes and ham, and it was the definition of comfort foodβjust like a homemade family recipe. My coworker chose the Light Athena sandwich and was impressed by both the flavor and the generous portion size. In fact, he ate half for lunch and happily took the other half home for later. Of course, no visit would be complete without dessert. Their impressive selection of homemade trea

Jeff was great for us and had solid suggestions. Scratch made kitchen was well represented and flavorful. Great gluten free options!

I've heard some really great talk about this restaurant but never tried it. It looks small and most tables were seated when we arrived for lunch (excellent sign of great food during the lunch rush during a weekday). Service, amazing. Food, make you roll your eyes and smile as soon as you taste it. I tried the soup and a sandwich combo. It was filling! We will definitely come back!
